HER STORY.
Meet Anna Dziczkaniece (pronounced Dis-kanis), born and raised in the UK and now based in Squamish, BC. Formerly working in the fashion world, she transitioned to the outdoor sports industry when she moved to Canada.
Her journey began in the fashion world, where she spent several years shooting at London Fashion Week — often seen running between shows with her close friend and creative partner Lauren Mustoe. Together, they teamed up to capture social media content for Adidas during branded events. Anna also worked in-house with Superdry’s post-production team before transitioning into documentary filmmaking, co-creating the award-winning Utopia – featuring Jamie Hill at Hilltop MTB.
Anna joined Anthill Films and played a crucial role as the lead editor for the latest season 2 of Return to Earth, a five-part television series. Last year, she worked as an assistant editor collaborating with Darren McCullough on the editing of the feature-length documentary The Engine Inside, which gained global recognition and was recently aired on Red Bull TV after its world premiere.
Recently, she took on the role of a camera operator during the filming of Anthill Films' new movie Anytime in Utah, USA, showcasing her versatility by also assisting in the editing process. Anytime went on to win a 2024–2025 Sports Emmy® Award for Outstanding Camera Work – Long Form, with Anna Dziczkaniece recognized as Cameraperson for her contribution.
Anna is currently one of two in-house Video Editors at Arc’teryx, where she plays a crucial role within the Brand-Direct and Brand-Narratives team. Among her recent accomplishments, she edited the global brand campaign video for Arc’teryx’s new Indigenous platform, Walk Gently, and crafted the film tour trailer for Arc Presents, a key promotional asset that significantly boosted the global tour’s reach.
